Relation between Depression and Vitamins
Posted by admin on January 15th, 2008Depression is not a disease but if you don’t control it then it could well become a disease. Its symptoms are very dangerous. It should be cured right away. Otherwise, it may end up taking your life as well. A number of scientific papers have been published which say that there is a relation between the vitamins and the depression.
The relation is intensified if we consider the case of the vitamin B12 and the Folic Acid. But there isn’t enough evidence to suggest that. Almost all papers outline the need for the further studies in this matter. These reports are substantial enough to prove the relation. If there is deficiency of any of these vitamins then you may be in the hands of depression.
Without any reason, it could be said that the vitamins are vital for alleviating the depression. Hence we should take the vitamins on a regular basis in order to keep away the depression.
It is not that you can ensure the supply of vitamins through food only. There are a variety of reasons for that. Almost all reasons point towards the fact that we should take vitamins through the medication methods.
These will be more effective than the one taken through the food. The principle reason behind this is the fact that our food does not contain the necessary amount of vitamins. It does not mean that these are not found in grains and are not found in the food we eat. They are denatured much before it reaches to us. All the vitamins are killed in the process.
